Going through Major Changes!

Allo peoples! Metal Gearz is going to be having some major changes - I am probably going to completely redo the template, add a different header, make a logo, and change the domain. (Rockinwithrobo.blogspot instead of metal-gearz.blogspot)

I need alot of time to do this, so expect changes to take awhile. If you have any header, logo, or idea for the blog, please email me or leave a comment! Thanks a bunch!

And to make this a interesting post, a song:

Seattle!

Hello all! I'm just visited Washington Seattle and it's awesome! Here's some pics of what we did:

Sweet fog...

We went to this market and they had mouth-watering fruit and veggies...
And some not-quite-so good looking veggies...is that even a carrot?

Yeaaaa it's us!

There was this really awesome country folk band that was really good.
They're playing in front of the FIRST Starbucks ever.
(How cool is that?)

Wow Apple is really expanding on stuff they sell...
(Do you think I could be a salesperson? I think I'm a little overenthusiastic...)

There was this awesome guy who played a guitar (well!), played a harmonica, balanced a guitar on his chin, spun TWO hulahoops around his waist, and spun in circles all at the same time! This beats the socks off the street performers in DC...wah.

Random wall...Look at my shadow, it seems unreal...

The people in Seattle also have awesome license plates...

...And totem poles in the middle of nowhere.

Well, I probably better stop uploading pics now! I'm in our hotel and am going to my cousin Chris' wedding tomorrow! (I'm sure it's gonna be awesome, he's quite a character as some of you know...wait, he'd better not read this) Our family is leaving to Oregon Monday morning and from there we're going to California to see the Redwoods. I'll try to do another blog post with pics of that! Kudos peoples and hope you're having a good time back in Maryland!

On the Plane

Hey guys!

I am on the plane right now and am writing this on my laptop! I was gonna post this while I was still on the plane, but it costs to use the wifi. (It's called Gogo Inflight Internet...exactly who thought up the name??) We got to the airport around 5:30 and it was surprisingly easy to get on our flight. After parking the car, we got on a shuttle bus which brought us right in front of our Check-In. We confirmed all our info, walked through security (the people were great, firm but kind and kept things moving insanely fast which was awesome), and boarded our plane. No hassle, not too much rush, and no hold-ups. I love BWI. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the rest of the flight and the take off was awesome. I love that feeling as your accelerate and the ground just suddenly lifts away. Like a rollercoaster, but better. I'm above the clouds right now probably hundreds of miles away from Gaithersburg, and I can't wait for the rest of my vacation.

Kudos peoples!

Shakespeare Camp Rocks!

I'm doing Shakespeare Camp for the first time, and I love it! We're doing A Midsummer Night's Dream, and romatic comedy that is in fact very, very funny yet serious at the same time. It's an amazing peice of work my Shakespeare, and I'm glad it's the play we're doing. I am playing Thesius, the Duke of Athens who happens to be the highest nobility in the play.(Mwahahaha...not) ;-)

To tell the truth, I was a bit dissapointed when I got the part of Thesius because I wanted to play Lysander, but now as we're actually acting it I love playing the part and I think Mrs. G did a very good job choosing our parts! Hope the play goes well on Thursday!

I've also been running everyday after Shakespeare (let me tell you we are exhausted at that point already!) with Steph, Cody, Nat, and Soph. It's been really fun! I did horribly the first day since I hadn't run in so long, but I'm getting better.

Kudos!

Bike Stolen!

Wow! So I was biking with James, Jonathan, my little sister and a neighborhood friend to the Flower Hill McDonalds. We got there, left our bikes where we could see them, and then went to order. I got some food and walked back to our table. We all say down and started eating, and out of nowhere this guy walks up to our table. He said this:

HimL "Hey man you stole my bike."

Was he talking to ME?

Him: "You stole my bike dude. That was mine."

I said, "That's my bike, I bought it with my money."

Him: "No its not, you stole it."

Me: "Dude, I bought that bike!"

Him: "Well that's my bike and I'm gonna go take it."

He was grinning cheesily the whole time and I could see two of his friends outside who obviously dared him to make a fool of himself. He started walking away and I thought that the rather strange conversation was over. Not so. He walked out the door and away, then suddenly seemed to change his mind. He walked straight over to my bike, got on, and biked away as fast as he could!

We all ran outside and James and I started biking after him, but he had too much of a headstart and we couldn't find where he went. I asked several people but they said they hadn't seen the bike anywhere. I saw a police cruiser and we took off after it. It stopped finally, and I told the policeman about the incident. So a little later, after my mom showed up and she called the police as well, ANOTHER policeman came and we gave all this info about what the stealer dude looked like and kind of bike it was and stuff like that.

Well, that's that and I am now bikeless. Please keep an eye out for a Green/Blue Huffy Gila bike. If you see one, please call me and let me know! Thank God that no one was hurt and that my bike didn't cost too much. (It's worth $200, but I got it for $60!)

Kudos, peace, and McHamburgers.

The Awesomest Gadget Around...

It's cool, it's shiny: it's the iPod Touch, what I personally think is the hands-down coolest gadget available at the moment. This awesome piece of tech lets you do anything from chatting your friends on gmail to buying a song on itunes to surfing the web. Wanna watch a video? No sweat. The iTouch has a beautiful 3.5 inch screen that makes it your own personal movie theater. Well, I guess I've officially become an Apple salesman. The only problem is I hate Macs. And for those who want to keep drooling over the iTouch, here's it's website:

Kudos, R out.

Pool!

Allo everyone! I went to the Bohrer Park Pool today and it was pretty fun! I got to meet a friend I hadn't seen in two years and it was nice to see him again. I loved going on the slides and I went on the blue one at least 7 times before I got really, really bored. (My record time on it was 5 seconds...try to beat it!) Anyway, it was freezing the majority of the time and it was not exactly the best swimming weather, but I still enjoyed the time there. This blog is currently in a competition and I need your help to get Metal Gearz in the top spot! Go and vote here:

Thanks for all the support! And just for no reason, this is what I hope the outcome of the competition is: (Assuming I'm the jet...)

The Frisbee Incident

So I'm still in Albion, Michigan, and there was a interesting event that happened today. Me, my cousin Charlie (20 yrs. old) and Elise my sister were just passing a frisbee around today. Charlie left about halfway through because he had to meet some more relatives, but me and Elise kept playing. So there's this really fast flowing river (About 30 ft across and 3~5 ft deep) right near , and I threw the firsbee right into it! Of course, it just HAD to be my cousins frisbee and we all paniced and went crazy trying to get it, but the river was flowing WAY too fast. Chichi (my other sister) went running to get help and Elise and I went running along the river on either side trying to find a place to get it. (yah, yah, we're prob the only people who would go this crazy over a $15 frisbee, but whateva) This gang of teenagers were shouting at us, "You can do it! Ya dude, keep it up, man!" In a not-exactly-encouraging tone, but I ignored them and kept following. Finally the current slowed, but there was a couple feet drop down to the river and I couldn't reach the frisbee. I got a stick and kept it near the side of the river, and then my dad came to the rescue. We borrowed a hoe from this random kind person and managed to fish the frisbee out. YAAAAAAAYYYYY!!! Thus concludes my random 'adventure' of the day. I'll be back tomorrow night! (After a 10 hr drive. RG, no comments plz. ;-)

In Michigan!

Allo peoples! I am (as in RIGHT NOW THIS SECUNDO!) in Michigan after a long, tiring, cramping, tiring, annoying, tiring, boring trip that was very, very tiring. (Did I mention it was tiring?) Ya, you get the point. I am alive and well (but still tired) and am enjoying my time at my aunt's house. I'm coming back Sunday night so I won't be at church, but I should see alot of ya at various times this week. I'll try to post a update when I get back home!
